Driver killed in Wash. Co. crash

HILLSBORO -- An early morning crash killed one person in rural Washington County, police said Wednesday.

The crash happened on Highway 219, south of Hillsboro.

Investigators said it looked as though speed was a factor in the crash and the driver of the pickup truck involved was killed by the impact.

Deputies said they would release more information about the crash and the victim late Wednesday.

Man... this was someone I worked with. Been getting calls this morning, and the Nissan girls are all messed up... Sucks, he was really a nice guy too...
